  1. Glass blowing By Kalebb Muehling

  2. Education/Training • I need to be educated in the tools and the art of glass blowing • I will need 2-3 years of training before I can work with glass for money • I would have to spend 1-12 months with the factory I have chosen before I will be given a permanent spot with the factory

  3. Job skills, talents, and experiences necessary • I will need lots of practice as a glass blower • I would Need to make20-40 glass pieces and put them into my portfolio. • I will need to be able to stand the heat of the furnace. • I will need patience

  4. Earning • I will make $25,000-55,000 per year as a glass blower • Plus money for my art work I would sell

  5. Benefits/Health Care/Vacation • If I work full time I would usually get benefits. I would have sick leave, paid vacation, and health insurance. If I was self-employed I must provide my own insurance.

  6. Employment Outlook • The employer would have to judge me in the first 12 months of working for the factory I have chosen to work for. • If I were to get hurt working for this factory to many times before the 12 month period is over I might not have the job with them

  7. Advancement Opportunities • There is no ranking I this type of job • If I work hard I might get more expensive glass to work with like Pyrex witch can be dropped on to concert and not break

  8. Typical Day • A typical day would be me waking up at 5-6 in the morning • Get there start heating up the furnace and putting glass in to one of them for it to melt and become molten glass • And start shaping the glass to look like the picture I have drawn of it then start adding dye to it to give it the color I want it to have

  9. Aptitude • I need good hand eye coordination • I cant be in a hurry • I have to be use to the heat • And need to work well with other incase I get put with a partner
