  2. Introduction • Model Management – is the control of models throughout their individual life cycle. This includes those factors external to the model environment that effect modeling, the modeling environment itself, the organization and interfaces of models, and the structure and settings within models. • Group Purpose – To exchange and discuss ideas on the subject; to discover the most relevant factors and corresponding best practices; to develop and promote a community and knowledge center that supports a fast-track to model development. • Measures of success – • Increasing number of domains represented/active? • Increasing number of authoritative papers. • Increase in amount of valuable discourse in forums.

  6. Presentation for Today • Chris Davies – Ford Motor Company • A Senior Technical Leader within the Ford Global Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering organization, (EESE). He has over 20 years of real-time controls and embedded software experience across multiple automotive domains. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Sussex, UK in Control Systems, a Masters degree in Advanced Automotive Systems Engineering at the University of Loughborough, UK and an Engineering Management Masters from Wayne State University, USA.
