All participants successful in completing the course will receive a statement of attainment for the competencies covered by the course. For electrical equipment for hazardous areas (EEHA) participants, the competencies covered form part credit towards any additional relevant Electrotechnology certification. Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas (EEHA) Basic Course: 5 day course Cost $2350.00 + G.S.T. Units of competency covered: UEENEEM001B Report on the integrity of explosion-protected equipment in hazardous areas UEENEEM002B Attend to breakdowns in hazardous areas UEENEEM004B Install explosion-protected equipment & wiring systems (Ex mixed, Ex n, Ex i, Ex e, Ex d) UEENEEM006B Maintain equipment in hazardous areas (Ex mixed, Ex n, Ex i, Ex e, Ex d) UEENEEM009B Test installations in hazardous areas (Ex mixed, Ex n, Ex i, Ex e, Ex d) UEENEEM010B Conduct Close Inspection of existing hazardous area installations UEENEEM011B Conduct Detailed Inspection of existing hazardous area installations Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Area (EEHA) Refresher Course Cost $500.00 + G.S.T.
