Our homestay families are located close to public transport and within an hour travelling to UTS:INSEARCH. The normal travelling time is 20 - 40 minutes. The type of homestay and availability will affect distance. Big houses with a nice garden and swimming pool are not found close to the city, whereas apartments are. Australian public transport is of a good quality, regular and well priced. Families will show students how to commute to and from UTS:INSEARCH. International students are eligible for discounted travel tickets. They need to apply for these through theUTS:INSEARCH Student Centre. You can also refer to the brochure for details.
