  9. Students take turns serving the lunch. All the students eat together with the teacher in the classroom.

  10. Japanese often eat with chop sticks. Chop sticks are called hashi. (hah-she)

  14. Even at an early age, children are taught the Japanese custom of bowing. The lower the bow, the more respect a person is showing.

  15. Yukata-a light cotton kimono

  16. I want to thank Mr. Fridell, Mrs. Koski and Mrs. Schlup for making this trip to Japan a very successful trip for me!
