  2. Fast Facts • Lifang Wang • She is my mom’s mom and my grandmother • She was born on January 27, 1937, in Boading, China • Currently lives in Beijing, China

  3. Living the Stripes(Self-Control) My Grandmother lives by the Stripes every day, especially self-control. She had four children who kept her very busy. When she got upset with them, she maintained her self-control and didn’t yell. Instead she tried to reason with them.

  4. Transportation Methods There were bicycles back then and now there are cars, buses, motorcycles, high-speed trains, and commercial planes. All these things make it faster to get from A to B. It used to bethat to get from China to the U.S, you could only take a ship, which took 2-3 months! Now you can take commercial planes that take about 14 hours.

  5. Changes in Technology Back then movies were like slide shows but over time, it became black and white televisions, then movies! then came computers, iPhones, and iPads! After movies 3D then 4D movies were invented followed by loud speakers, earphones, and headphones!

  6. Difficulties in Your Life Time She had four children (1 boy and 3 girls).My grandmother needed to take them to daycare. Since she was a teacher, she had to get the next day planed then get the stuff I needed for the next day. After that, I worked on shirts and shoes.

  7. Mottoes • My grandmother believes in telling the truth and being honest. She also believes in getting enough sleep. In addition, she believes in faith as well.
