  4. Implementing a Sustainable Business Model

  5. Implementing a Sustainable Business Model We as Boards of Education rarely find opportunities that allow us to convert cost to classroom funding. We in Kenton County have found in New Energy Technology a tool to allow that to happen. Chris Baker and her great teams, in the buildings, have been able to return to the district literally hundreds of thousands of dollars to convert to improving learning for the children of the district. It is rare in education to find a true ROI in the operations of our facilities. This program is a proven self-funding ROI that has unlimited potential. And to cap it off, the students become an active part of the process. While government is spending big money trying to find better energy systems, we are able to achieve this with minimal investment and unprecedented returns. Any School Board not taking advantage of a process like this is missing the greatest learning opportunity for their students that has come along in a long time, while realizing a true return on the investment that gives us positive cash flow to go back into the classroom. Carl WicklundHebron Operations School Board Member $74,862 District is on track to achieve over $300,000 in energy cost reduction the first year
