On October 25, 2011, Jenny Mizelle CEcD presented a strategic plan for enhancing Holly Springs, NC, through creative economy initiatives. The session focused on identifying and leveraging local creative assets, fostering collaboration among organizations, and engaging the community in creative enterprises. Key steps include outreach, funding opportunities, and hosting events to encourage creative industries’ growth. This project aims to connect creative organizations and promote their services, ultimately contributing to sustainable economic development in the Piedmont Triad area.

Project Purpose • To aggregate the strengths and resources of creative industries-related organizations so that they may connect and collaborate; • and to provide a meeting place for the organizations to market their services to their customers.
Project Structure • RTS has given us permission to use their categories for organizing creative economy resources. We intend for the Resource Providers that fall into these categories to be the primary users and content generators on the site.
