  3. Objectives • I can integrate technology to effectively scaffold student learning. • I can maximize student engagement using tools such as interactive websites, Starboard, and Einstruction. • I can integrate “teach”nology to maximize efficiency. • I can “go green” and save paper!

  5. Adding Your Class • Click on the Classes Tab • Click on Build New Class • Name Your Class • Select Available Products with a check in the box to give your class permission to use it • Click Save

  6. My Classes and Groups • Once your class is created Click on Roster • Click on Select from School Roster • Check your student’s name in the box • Click Save

  7. Learner Settings • To adjust your learner settings click on the Classes Tab • Click on Learner Settings • Adjust the Class / Group • Click on the Name • Adjust the Learner Setting to Advanced, On Level, Below Level, Concept Literacy, ELL, ELD • Click Save

  8. To Manage Your Products • Log Into PearsonSuccess.net • Click on My Account • Manage Produc ts • Add the products that fit your grade level by typing in (copying/pasting) the codes • Check the Boxes that you give your class permission to use • Click on Add Selected Products to your class/group

  9. Table of Contents • Your Grade Level will scroll across the top of the page • When you press the Table of Contents tab six units will pop up • There are 5 stories in each unit with a week of interactive review for a total of 6 weeks per unit. • There is a total of 36 weeks of content available to take you through the whole school year. • Or you can leave the interactive review weeks out and just work on the 30 stories. (6 units x 5 stories = 30 stories total)

  10. Each Unit has 6 weeks For Example: • Unit 1 Week 1 • Day 1 = Monday • Day 2 = Tuesday • Day 3 = Wednesday • Day 4 = Thursday • Day 5 = Friday

Unit 1 Week 2: Lewis and Clark and Me Day 4 Get Ready To Read Tab • E-Reader: Lewis, Clark and the Corps of Discovery (Social Studies Biography) From Little Readers Read and Comprehend • Paired Selection: A short text of a different genre that compliments the main selection (Ellen Ochoa Space Pioneer) • Journal Activity (Short Answer) shows up after the book is finished
