  5. In Case of Medical Emergency Electric Shock Burns Cuts & Bruises Broken Bones Heat Related Emergencies Fainting Heart Attack Allergy Reaction Insect Bites Diabetes / Low Blood Sugar First Aid Training

  6. In Case of Medical Emergency Electric Shock Stay clear if person in contact with power source Turn off power Call 112 if person is not responsive If responsive, take to medical facility at earliest May have small external burn, cannot tell tissue damage inside body

  7. In Case of Medical Emergency Minor Burns Apply cold water (not ice) Run cold water till burn area does not hurt Cover with non stick sterile dressing

  9. In Case of Medical Emergency If person is on fire Call 112 STOP DROP & ROLL, then cover with wet blanket Remove jewelry and clothing not stuck to skin Cover with dry blanket

  10. In Case of Medical Emergency Cuts & Bruises Wash with lots of clean water Apply antibiotic ointment Dress wound Apply pressure if bleeding does not stop If puncture skin, leave object inside – let medical staff remove it Call 112 if bleeding does not stop in about 15 minutes

  11. In Case of Medical Emergency Broken Bones & Sprains Don’t straighten body part that is bent or deformed Don’t move broken bone piercing skin Keep wound cool with ice cold water Call 112 and don't move patient

  12. In Case of Medical Emergency Heat Related Emergencies Make person lie down in shade Give lots of cold fluids and electrolyte Remove excessive clothing, if possible Cool person with cool water spray Stretching & massage muscles gently

  13. In Case of Medical Emergency Heart Attack If person has no allergy, serious bleeding or signs of stroke, give aspirin Perform CPR, if knowledgeable Act quickly and call 112 or rush patient to hospital

  14. In Case of Medical Emergency Allergy Reaction Check medical jewelry for type of allergy If conscious, ask about medication & dosage Use epinephrine pen Be alert for signs of shock / trouble breathing

  15. In Case of Medical Emergency Insect Bites Check for signs of insect bite Wash bite with lots of running water Know type of insect to inform medical personnel If not responsive, call 112 or rush to medical center immediately

  25. Children Safety • Don’t leave kids alone unsupervised • Children walking for tuitions should go in groups, or with adult supervision • Inform your kids if they will be picked up by others • Know the parents of your children’s friends
