Join the fun in creating The Great Hawthorn Book of Bakes! Following our successful bake-off, we're inviting every child to contribute their favorite baking recipes. Submit your recipe on a decorated A4 sheet—either handwritten or printed, ensuring clarity and no dangling bits! The submission deadline is December 17th, and all entries will be scanned for publication. The book will be available for purchase in the New Year. For ICT activities, feel free to use Word, PowerPoint, or Publisher. Email your entries to Claire Tyrrell at ctyrrell@hawthorn.northants.sch.uk.

The Great Hawthorn Book of Bakes Following the success of Hawthorn’s many talented bake-off, the PFA will be launching a book of Hawthorn’s favourite bakes and cakes. Every child is invited to submit a baking recipe on a side of A4, decorated and either handwritten in v good clear handwriting or printed out. All A4 sheets will be scanned, so no dangly bits! The book will be available to buy in the New Year, so the 17th December is the closing date. If anyone would like to complete this as an ICT activity, use Word or Powerpoint or Publisher and email to Claire Tyrrell.
Lemon Cup Cakes by Joe Bloggs (aged 10) Joe’s Cup Cakes Aged 10 Ingredients: 175g flour 175g sugar 175g butter 2 eggs Beat the sugar and butter together then add the eggs.
