The Border Citizen Information System (BCIS) aims to revolutionize cross-border communication and infrastructure development in the Euregio region. With 12 border crossings facilitating 125,000 daily passers, this unique initiative supports tourism, economic growth, and public safety. By using multidisciplinary communication technologies, the project enhances information dissemination during emergencies (e.g., Amber Alerts) and promotes regional collaboration. The research findings will be published in Dutch and German, ensuring accessibility and regional impact.
