A Critical Role in ICHE’s Access-to-Completion Agenda IU’s Regional Campuses— Provide an accessibIe, affordable IU degree to a wide range of learners Produce a skilled workforce for their regions Educate the future citizens and leaders of their regions Support state and regional economic development and civic engagement

  3. Regional Campuses Are A Third of Indiana University 3,777 degrees awarded in 1998-99; 5,236 degrees awarded in 2009-10 80% of regional campus alumni stay in the community Opportunities for expansion

  4. Broader Access to Higher Education • Wide range of student preparation • 42 % of undergrads are first generation students • 58% of students caring for dependents • 35% work more than 20 hours per week
