[ Regional Development Agency] in Bielsko-Biała • Date of implementation: December 2004-March 2007 • Territory : about 6000 m2, on the basis of green field in the production and service zone of the city • Project title: ‘Establishing Beskidy Technology Incubator in Bielsko-Biała’ • Implemented activities: - constructing incubator building, - modernization of service and office building where offices and laboratories are located and the building which is a production base (IT, computer technologies etc.) ‏ Amount of financing: PLN 10,018,260.00 Expected results: • establishing 60 new jobs, • acquiring 22 enterprises.

ZAMBRÓW INDUSTRIAL PARK • Project manager : ZarządNieruchomościinZambrów Sp z o.o. • Date of implementation : April2005-May 2006 (finished) • Territory covered by the implemented investment : 4 ha, on the basis of cotton industry infrastructure (previously a weaving mill – ZamtexZambrów Enterprise of Cotton Industry [ZambrowskiePrzedsiębiorstwoPrzemysłuBawełnianegoZamtex]) • Title of theimplementedproject:‘Investments Establishing Zambrów Industrial Park in Zambrów’. Amount of financing: PLN 50,508. 20 • Implemented activities: -renovation of the hallof an area of 22 000 m2, • construction of the installation and networks together with service connections, - development of the existing road infrastructure, - development of green areas • Amount of financing: PLN 7,490,713.99 . • Expected results: -establishing350 jobs -establishing 14 enterprises.

  22. Zambrów Industrial Park iscreated by threecompanies: KeylitefromIreland (production of roofwindows , Oknorex (production of windows and doors – Polish company) andTefim (investorfromYugolsavia – production ofvarioustypes of bags and paper packagings). Establishment of newemployingestablishmentsinZambrów caused a decrease of unemploymentinthe city belowaverage of the country for the first time for many years. [Płock Industrial and Technology Park] • Date of implementation: January 2005-December2006 (finished) • Territory: 200.4 ha, on the basis of the infrastructure of chemical industry • Project title: ‘The first stage of constructing technical and material infrastructure of the Industrial Park in Płock’ • Implemented activities : - construction of technical and ICT network, - construction of inner roads, - renovation and modernization of 4 buildings, -purchasingequipment. • Amount of financing: PLN 39,074,000.00. • Effects: -establishing 2250 jobs, -establishing 36 enterprises.

Prospects of supporting the beneficiaries of the measure 1.3 SOP ICE in the next period of programming 2007-2013 measure 5.3 Support for Innovation Centres Operational Programme – Innovative Economy Within the measure 5.3 Innovative Economy Operational Programme, financing of implementation of big investment projects covering also the elements of consultation and promotion activities was planned. Planned budget of themeasure:190 million Euro Mode of choosing projects:list of key projects - financing of existing initiatives (70% of the budget) and the competition – financing of newly-arising initiatives of supra-regional importance (30% of the budget) Level of financing : up to 85% of eligible costs Date of implementation: 2007-2013

Applicants:existing and newly-established institutions of business, which perform services of high market and technological potential, including: subjects managing science and technology parks, technology incubators, centres for advanced technology, productivity centres and other centres for specialist services for entrepreneurs.
