  1. Trek to the Mystic hidden valley-Upper Mustang Upper Mustang trek is bucket list of most of the travellers travelling to Nepal. Widely known as the hidden or forbidden kingdom of Nepal, Upper Mustang is definitely one of the nest trekking destination in Nepal wuth vast diversity of land & panoramic mountain views to offer. Untouched by the outer World & Modern society, Upper Mustang can be considered as living museum of ancient tibetan culture & tradition. The main highlight of Upper Mustang trek is the route that covers west Himalayan region of Nepal & ancient Buddhist shrines such as Stupas, Chhortens, Kaanis, Prayers walls, centuries old monasteries & interaction with local tibetan people. Upper Mustang, hidden behind the majestic Himalayan ranges of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, is filled with the barren landscape of eroded sandstone pillars along with the moraine terraces and ancient cultural and biological diversity. One will need a special trekking permit and a government registered trekking company of Nepal while visiting this region. Your trek to Upper Mustang starts off with a short flight to Jomsom, trek to Kagbeni & so on. Upper Mustang trek is graded as Moderate trek that comes with some Adventure, Surprise, thrill & lifetime memories. Although Upper Mustang trek is Moderate grade trek, there are few things that you'll have to be aware of before planning your trek.   2. -Spring (March to May) -Monsoon (June to August) -Autumn (September to November) Trek permit cost for Upper Mustang trek -Upper Mustang Permit Cost: 500 USD per person for first 10 days -After 10 Days: USD 50 each extra day -ACAP Permit Since it is a restricted area, this trek must be planned with local Government authorized trekking agency with minimum two people to get approved for Upper Mustang trek permit.
