Moderate Sedation Program A comprehensive moderate sedation course designed to educate participants on the general guidelines surrounding the use of moderate sedation. • ELearning portion (25 web-based keys) • Tool Kit Materials (Instructor’s Manual) • 4 Simulation Scenarios • 2.5 contact hours, CERP Category A • (approved by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses) • Documentation of staff competence and compliance • Provides consistent Training across all staff • Based on guidelines developed by the Joint Commission, • America Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA), • American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)

  5. Comprehensive Sepsis Program A comprehensive sepsis course designed to educate participants on research-based guidelines surrounding the care of patients who develop sepsis. Focusing on early identification, treatment, and long term management of patients with sepsis. • ELearning portion (25 web-based keys) • Tool Kit Materials (Instructor’s Manual) • 4 Simulation Scenarios • 4.0 contact hours • (approved by the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, Inc.) • Documentation of staff competence and compliance • Provides consistent Training across all staff • Based on guidelines, tools, and research from: • ► Surviving Sepsis Campaign • ► Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI)
