  1. Advising Primer Guide to UDSIS 9.0

UDSIS upgrades have made the old Degree Progress Reports obsolete • To read or write notes, or to download the “senior checkout form” • UDSIS > Main Menu > Self Service > Advisor Center > Advising Notes • To see the new Degree Progress Report • UDSIS > Main Menu > Self Service > Advisor Center > My Advisees • Click on “View Student Details”

  3. The Student Details page looks like this… note that it lists the current semester schedule…

  4. When does registration open? Click on “Details” & select the Semester for the exact DAY & HOUR…

  5. Drop-Down Menu…

  6. Drop-Down Menu… … select Transcript and click on the button (>>) to download a PDF

  7. Drop-Down Menu… select Academic Requirements for the New Degree Progress Report

  8. Click here for a PDF that summarizes all requirements...

  9. …or you can look at the requirements one at a time: note the Legend that explains Icons

  10. I recommend beginning with “collapse all”

  11. …then click on the little triangles to get more detail: this student has “not satisfied” all Film requirements

  12. …and more triangles reveal student has not taken ENGL 318

  13. Another example: here’s an English Ed student with ENGL101 in progress…
