  2. How many files per day For our end of day service, and for the historical data, there are three CSV files per day. For Bare Bones data the history only includes the Options file. • Options file • Stock file • IVStats

  3. CSV Formatted Data Our most frequently purchased products are the CSV formatted historical data and end of day subscriptions. Click on "Catalog" in the upper right corner to see a list of all our products.

  4. CSV Format • We carry end of day historical option prices history for all U.S. Equity options including stocks, Indexes and ETFs. Our bulk history begins in 2002, and SPX data in 1990.

  5. Microsoft SQL Database • For serious analysis, having the data in a database is a must. It allows you to quickly access the data that you are looking for. The core of the data is the same as the CSV version, including options data, stock data and options statistics.

  6. CSV Format With FTP • This is a daily download service. The file format matches the same structure as the historical data. Approximately 90 minutes after the market closes you will be able to download that days data via ftp

  9. Special Option Types • (*) – should be good if they are in the money. Asterisk means it is a composite price, including all option exchanges.  • (N) – this is a non-standard, or special settlement option situations, and not used in back testing. • (Y) – Binary option  • (R) – Repeated option. The bid, ask and volume are the same for many days in a row. • (D) - Duplicate. Similar to non-standard option • (W) - Weekly option • (Q) - Quarterly option • (P) - SPX PM Settled. Usually SPX is AM settled • (T) - Ten Shares per contract ("mini" options) • (J) - Jumbo (1000 shares per contract)
