  1. Radhika Apte - The Indian Queen of Netflix 2018 Apte has not followed the conventional career path of a movie star. She works in theatre and Web Series Online, has been part of an art experimental film, and has worked in films of five regional cinemas. She is trained in kalaripayattu, the martial art form from Kerala. Radhika is a malleable actress. She can transform. She creates the character. Most actors put themselves before the character and worry about how they will be perceived in a film. But Radhika’s biggest strength is that she is not scared of doing a role. Radhika Apte first appeared with a small role in the Hindi film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! In 2005, a project she did "just for fun" while still being in college. Riddhima Seal, writing for The Times of India, called Apte a "revelation", further adding "With eyes that speak a thousand words, her passion for work and the loneliness of her heart as she waits

  2. to chat every night with that special stranger just strikes the right chord". However, In 2015, Apte gained wider recognition for her roles in six feature films released in the first eight months. These included Badlapur, Haram, Lion, Hunterr, Manjhi etc. “When you come to Bollywood and Web Series Sites, there are certain things you have to do for image-building. But that scares me. The fun part goes,” says Apte. To prevent that from happening, the actor says she is resolute about not having a game plan. LUST STORIES This Watch Online Web Series has an ensemble cast including Kiara Advani, Radhika Apte, Bhumi Pednekar, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Neil Bhoopalam, Neha Dhupia, Sanjay Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Akash Thosar. She gives us a very realistic picture of open relationships, age gaps and also the 'logic' behind how a woman can be attracted to or rather inclined towards two men at the same. We also see how the director connects the story to the influence of technology through Kalindi, to whom Radhika gives the best face. The actor is a natural and gives one of her best performances yet. We laugh and very much relate to her girl-next-door yet sophisticated narratives. The director-actor duo definitely makes for an intriguing collaboration. SACRED GAMES “Everybody Online Watch Web Series on Netflix and it has come up with such good content,” Apte said. “I wasjust like I’d love to be a part of that. Shooting for Sacred Games Online felt really amazing for me on many levels. First, it is a Netflix show and everybody gets to see it. Second, it is really good quality work. To be honest, it wasn’t too different from shooting a film – it was the same process and the same effort – but the main difference was this sense of complete freedom to say what you want to say or do what you want to do."

  3. GHOUL Set against a dystopian future where fascism and sectarian violence dominate, Apte plays the staunch, complex agent Nida Rahim, who gets cherry-picked to work at a remote military interrogation centre. Apte’s character is the relatively sane voice among her barbaric peers. “Nida is someone with a strong sense of responsibility towards her belief systems. She’s so convinced about what she has learnt, her passions and her value system. She believes that anybody who stands in the way of her beliefs should be dealt with as a sense of duty,” the actress says. Translation? Her character, which walks around feeling perennially righteous, does the unthinkable.
