  2. ITA’s Achievements So Far The above has been undertaken with support from UNICEF,SC UK & ITA Data as of July, 30th 2006. ITA CEC UK & Partners in School Construction is not added

  3. Construction of Semi-Permanent structures in AJK • 12 schools are being constructed in AJK region with the support of ITACEC UK, Sanjan Nagar Public Education Trust and ITA; 6 schools in Bagh and 6 in Muzaffarabad • In every school, one toilet is being constructed for every two rooms • Work has begun in all but one school. • Three schools are near completion with toilets under construction/installation of equipment.

  7. Muzaffarabad -Additional 3 Schools Need support for Construction A total amount of UK Sterling 1000 is required per shelter for approximately 35 students

  8. Community Learning and Vocational Centre Space Donated by the Community : 3000 square yards through A Memorandum of Understanding with ITA

  9. Expenditure-Community Learning and Vocational Center • Shelters for each Community Learning & Skills Centre : GBP 5000 • Equipment & 1 year salary/materials to trainers/trainees: GBP 6000 • Beneficiaries : 300 per year (Minimum) • Vocational Skills: Construction; Crafts; IT: 3 months courses • Literacy Classes for 150 learners • Proposed Fee for Skills Managed by the Community: Rs. 50 to 100 per month • Managed by a Local NGO • Master trainers trained by ITA Pakistan • Supervised by ITA Pakistan in collaboration with NRSP
