  13. IFEC 2019 Challenge High Efficiency and Power Dense Bicycle Electric Drive Specifications: • Input:48VDC nominal 9Ah Lead Acid Battery Pack, 20A fuse • Output Load: 3-phase 8-pole BLDC Motor, 69 rpm/Vll,rms, 0 to 300Hz, 20A fuse

IFEC 2019 Requirements • Cable and connector integrity: 10N pull test • Insulation Resistance: >500kΩ @ 250VDC • Power Up & E-Stop: 1) <1mA when E-Stop pressed 2) <50mA in quiescent state • Free Acceleration: Time to reach 2500 rpm (overspeed fault trip expected) • Full Load Test: Maintain highest possible speed for 2 min • Drive Cycle Performance Test: Cycle through 25 operating points in 10min. Performance evaluated based energy consumed per distance traveled.
