I am Committed. To God. To God’s Family. To Holiness. To Ministry. 5/7/12. …To God’s Family. I am Committed. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. I Corinthians 12:14.

  3. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ... I Corinthians 12:14

  4. …For the body [of Christ] is not one member, but many…But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him…And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: I Corinthians 12:14,18,21-22,

  5. Committed To Gathering

  6. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25

  7. Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbreland dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the highsounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 150

  8. You are Invited… O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. Psalm 95:1-2

  9. Committed To Hearing The Word

  10. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:14

  11. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. II Timothy 4:2

  12. Committed To Fellowship

  13. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. Acts 2:42

  14. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. I John 1:7

  15. Committed To Others

  16. Romans 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

  17. Matthew 7:3-4 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

  18. Matthew 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

  19. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:10

  20. Committed To Forgive

  21. It is impossible but that offences will come:… Luke 17:1

  22. Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Matthew 18:21-22

  23. Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. Matthew 5:23-24

  24. Committed To Unity

  25. I Corinthians 12:25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

  26. And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12

  27. how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Psalm 133:1

  28. I Am Committed

  29. I recognize the power in worshipping God in a group setting. I realize the importance of taking advantage of each opportunity to hear the Word of God preached. I understand that the family is God’s design to bring both personal and community strength through fellowship, encouragement, mentorship, and even chastisement. I also understand that the body of Christ is human, and will fail me at times, but that strong families are built despite flaws and not due to a lack of them. Therefore I shall commit myself to God’s family in faithful attendance to the church, to unity within the body, and to fellowship within the body. I am Committed!
