  2. Class Assignment 2: Managing a Checking Account Using your checks and deposit slips on (page), make the following banking transactions and record them on the check register (page ) in order. Today fill out: • February 19- you pay your car insurance through the Internet. The company name is Keep Safe Insurance and the amount is $142.00. • February 19- check #109 to Top Choppers for a haircut for $12.00. • February 19- Deposit: checks #2699 for $280.00 and #389 for $158.00, you request $40.00 in cash.

  3. Lucky LadyTom Jackson, SMATT 135 • Everyone needs a coin. • ON MY GO… you need to flip the coin 10 times. Before each flip, guess whether it will be heads or tails. Record your guess on your scratch paper. (H & T) • Keep track of whether you are correct or not after the coin flip.

  4. Lucky LadyTom Jackson, SMATT 135 • Pair up with your table partner. • This time you are trying to guess what the results will be between the 2 coins. • On your paper, number 1-10. Make 2 columns one label “me” and the other “partner”. • To be right, you have to be correct in guessing both coins. Both people do NOT have to have the same guess.

  7. Stock Market Game • Use your table teams to play. You each get a scratch paper and marker. • CREAT A TEAM NAME! • You only get 10 seconds to write your response on your scratch paper, everyone will hold your answers up at the same time. • Every team that answers correctly receives the money value that is being used. • If you answer incorrectly I will take away money!
