Efficacy of Candesartan/HCT Substitution in Hypertension Management: A Multimodal Approach
This study evaluates the use of Candesartan/HCT substitution in patients with hypertension, measuring outcomes via self-blood pressure monitor (SBPM) and ambulatory blood pressure monitor (ABPM) techniques. Starting with a baseline of >=140/90 mmHg at Week 0, participants underwent treatment adjustments based on SBPM and ABPM data collected over a 12-week period. An interactive teaching program was utilized to engage patients and enhance adherence to therapy. Results from the study demonstrate the effectiveness of this integrated approach to managing hypertension.
