In this assignment, students will explore the major geographic features of North Carolina, including its coastal plains, Appalachian Mountains, and central plains. Through a series of activities, including online resources from Discovery Education and an NC map activity, students will learn to identify and describe various regions and their characteristics. Additionally, students will write a reflection on which region they would prefer to settle in if they were among the first settlers in America. The goal is to deepen their understanding of how geography affects our lives and communities.
