  3. Example 1 • Secularstruggle, changes in the roles of women, and political and geographical battles for power caused the Salem Witch Trial hysteria of 1692.

  4. Example 2 • During the year 1692, religious uncertainty, geographical diversity, and social separation were main reasons hysteria became eminent causing colonists to become caught up in their own fear.

  5. Example 3 • The Salem Witch Trials tore apart the town of Salem due to a decline in church morals, a greed for more land ownership and a move towards secular government.

  6. Example 4 • These hysterias, known as the Salem Witch Trials, were stemmed from the impurities of their religion, the competing economic struggles, and the social discrepancies of the conflicting sides of town.

  7. Example 5 • The Salem witch hysteria was triggered by the socialimbalance of the younger generation, the economic downfall of the colony, and the religiousconversionsand propaganda of the time.
