  4. JLF • Annual conference to explore philanthropic motivations • Employ renowned speakers, scholar-in-residence, break-out sessions, and interactive activities • Approximately 75 participants from over 25 communities

  5. Lunch with a Legend • YPO Model of engaging Next Gen- Intimate and exclusive • Focus is on philanthropy, networking and socializing • Sampling of Past Legends include: • Bernie Marcus June 2007 • Michael Dell Jan 2008 • Edgar and Adam Bronfman March 2008 • Upcoming Legend: Bud Selig June 2008

  6. FLIGHT • In partnership with the Fisher Foundation • Three sponsored programs over an 8 month period • Intense exposure to CJP opportunities • Alumni network and activities

  7. Boutique Missions • Groups of no more than 15 • Strategic destinations involving our overseas partners • Strong staff to participant ratio • Next mission planning for March 2009

  8. Community Capacity Building • Sharing of successful programming across communities • Venture philanthropy circles • Professional training (future)

  9. Challenges • Appropriate measurements of success/failure to guide programming decisions • Local follow-up • National follow-up • Traditional engagement methods • Investment concept
