  3. Structure of IEC TC 77 • TC 77 scope: prepare EMC standards and reports with emphasis on basic immunity and emission standards. Support product committees on request. www.schaffner.com

Basic EMC Standards • The basic EMC standards and other publications: • give the general rules to achieve Electromagnetic Compatibility • may be applied by all product families • serve as reference documents for the product committees • are developed by TC 77 of IEC and taken by CENELEC with no or slight amendments www.schaffner.com
