IPCPUB Status review New functionalities since IPC CE 46: • Software package V 5.3 with IPC/CPC/FI “parallel viewer” implemented by some offices e.g. INPI Brazil • Concerned Offices are invited to communicate to the IB IPC bridge updates if the link to their site is broken • Evolutions for IPCRECLASS: “get Concordance TO” web service • Evolutions for IPCRMS: Get XML fragment web service for CPC-based or FI-based IPC revision proposals

IPCPUB perspectives Planned for 2015: • Preparation for IPCRMS and future master files or their transformation (definitions, Catchword, compilation) • Preparation for IPCRECLASS evolutions e.g. extend “concordance To” Web service with Default transfer • Unexpected for 2015: • Impact of CPC XML changes and associated modifications • To be discussed: • Suggestions for improvements CE447

Migration to a new authentication and Identity management system Highlights: • Based on Personal logins • Centralized identity management (Office, email address, … • Ultimately, single sign-on for all WIPO IT solutions supporting the IPC (or other business domain) • Users administrators for large office assign the business area (e.g. IPC, NICE,…) • Self assistance for forgotten, username or password

  6. Migration to a new authentication and Identity management system Transition Plan 2015: • Office data capture: in progress • IPC-IEFand IPCRECLASS: July-August • IPCRMS: in progress until October • You can already register login under : https://www3.wipo.int/wipoaccounts

  7. Tool to collect Office feedback New functionalities since IPC CE 46: • Simple questions/answers based on logins/office information • Automated report • 2 surveys organized: • CE446: 17 offices answered • QC019: 22 offices and 4 public users responded • Potential use to collect further feedback from offices

  8. Survey on the use of IPCRECLASS Conclusions Based on CE446 annex 14: • Reclassification done essentially using • interactive mode • Import result list zip file • No need to organize a retraining session

  9. IPCRECLASS New functionalities since IPC CE 46: • Default transfer (for stage 3 reclassification)

  10. IPCRECLASS evolutions Short term (2015 ) / long term (2016-2017) Perspectives: • Handover of part of the MCD processing from the EPO to WIPO • Review of comments on project CE446

  11. Survey on IPC Master files by-products Conclusions: • See QC019 annex 14 • Keep all existing by-products • In addition as from 2016.01, new will appear: • Validity file • Compilation file
