  1. Houston Bernard Inherits Creativity Houston Bernard is a unique and creative, modern day entrepreneur and artist, utilizing his education and talents in innovative ways. Bernard was born in Oklahoma, the son and nephew of rockabilly artists The Rebel Brothers who played with top acts like Tanya Tucker and Sleepy LeBeef. Bernard’s father and uncle performed as The Rebel Brothers with other country and rockabilly artists of the 70’s.

Rockabilly and Country Music of Houston Bernard Houston Bernard is the founder of the Houston Bernard Band, a family rockabilly and country band which specializes in ballads and crowd-pleasing party anthems. The Houston Bernard Band is a natural offshoot of the performing careers of Bernard’s father and uncle, who toured as The Rebel Brothers in the 70’s and 80’s. Musical talent runs in the Bernard family, who now tour throughout New England.

Houston Bernard Band Feted in New England and Beyond The Houston Bernard Band was nominated for country artist of the year by Limelight Magazine in 2014, and the Band was on the ballot for the 2014 Grammys. Named Band of the summer for the Country 102.5 WKLB Parking Lot Party at the Xfinity Center for summer 2015, the Houston Bernard Band was also nominated as Country Act of the Year at the 2015 New England Music Awards.

  4. Houston Bernard The Rebel Brothers Country music runs through Houston Bernard’s family, as both his father and uncle played in bands with stars like Sleepy Labeef and Tanya Tucker. Together the pair was known as the ‘Rebel Brothers’ and was very prominent in both the Nashville and Oklahoma country music scenes. Houston draws inspiration from their Country and rockabilly roots, which has led his band to becoming one of the top Country acts in New England.
