  2. Recreational Fun There are many fun things to do in the Barbados. If you are into water activities you can go scuba diving and see the wonderful sea life of Barbados. Or maybe your not into that kind of stuff. Maybe you’re more into outdoors kind of things. You could go hiking! Doesn’t that sound fun?

  3. Historic Sites There are many historic site in Barbados. They are great tourist sites when people go there to visit. You could try visiting The Barbados Museum which is housed in what used to be the British Military Prison. The prison, whose upper section was built in 1817 and lower section in 1853, became the headquarters of the Barbados Museum and Historical Society in 1930.

  4. Culture The people of Barbados are called Barbadians. More than 260,000 people live on this island of 166 square miles with a population density of 1,548 people per square mile in 1996. Barbadians speak a some English with the tone qualities of the West African heritage. Barbadians also speak an English-West African pidgin called Bajan. The number of native Bajan speakers have declined in recently.

  5. Shopping & Entertainment There are many places to shop in Barbados. There are Jewelry Shops, Craft Stores, there's Pelican Village, Quayside Centre and Bayshore Complex. When the sun goes down in Barbados, the fun continues though. Barbados nightlife is varied, providing entertainment for everyone, from historic dinner shows to romantic cruises and exquisite dining.

  6. Restaurants Want a great meal while your in Barbados? Try going to The Tides, The Cliff, or maybe Caribbean Bar And Restaurant all in Saint James, Barbados. They all have great reviews and even greater food!
