This information meeting, held on August 27, 2003, at the Botanic Gardens in Dublin, served to inform local authorities, energy agencies, developers, and other stakeholders about the initiative's goals, expectations, and proposal deadlines. With the deadline for submissions set for December 17, 2003, participants were encouraged to generate project ideas, understand the Commission's expectations, and form collaborative project teams.
