  1. £1 NON-UNIFORM DAY FRIDAY 28th MAY 2010 Supporting cancer charities

Everyman's mission is to stamp out testicular and prostate cancer. £25 pays for Everyman to store 4 tumour samples for analysis. £60 buys a statistics package for epidemiologists to use to analyse their research results. £100 pays for Everyman to store 6,000 blood samples each   year. £120 pays for two specially treated plates chemists use to screen compounds against targets in their search for anti-cancer drugs.

  3. Big C pays for cancer equipment in Norfolk and Waveney’s hospitals, provides local support & care and funds world class research for the people of Norfolk and Waveney. Toby Barrett in the 6th form will be taking part in a charity parachute jump for the Big C. He is looking for sponsorship. Mrs Leggett and the ‘allotment club’ have produced a healthy eating recipe leaflet. There is one for every student. Collect yours on Friday 28th May from the student reception desk during break and lunch.
