  3. Important Women in the War Deborah Sampson Grace && Rachel Martin Betsy Ross Elizabeth Burgin

  4. Deborah Sampson Disguised as a man, joined the army. She got shot in the leg, that she doctored herself. After, being hospitalized for fever. They discovered she was really a women.

  5. Betsy Ross Betsy’s real name was Elizabeth Griscom Born; January 1, 1752 Sewed the first American Flag

  6. Grace & Rachel Martin They didn’t like the way women and children were treated. They decided to dress up as their husbands and take documents from British Courier The British never suspected them.

  7. Elizabeth Burgin She visited the prison often and brought prisoners gifts and food Elizabeth helped hundreds of prisoners of war escape of prison ships. When the British found out it was her helping them escape she wrote General George Washington for help.
