  3. Causes/Transmitted • A change in a gene that controls the bodies necessary basic of the connective tissue. • Messes with the strength and elasticity of the connective tissue.

  4. Treatments • A visit to the doctor • Orthopedic or eye exams • Medications (not highly recommended) • Betablocker or betablocker therapy) • Calcium channel blocker • Losartol • Routine cardiovascular exams

  5. Interesting Facts • Abraham Lincoln suffered from Marfan Syndrome. • There is no cure • Pulling a tooth from someone that has Marfan Syndrome can kill them.
