  2. saturn Saturn has over more than a dozen rings. Also Saturn Is the only planet with visible rings. Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun.

  3. Saturn's climate Saturn’s climate is -150 degrees Celsius on the cloud tops and toward the core it is about 11,000 degrees Celsius. Near the equator of the planet the winds can reach up to about 1,100 mph. Saturn has the fastest winds of all the planets in the solar system

  4. Greek God Saturn Saturn was the Greek God of harvest. His reign was during the Golden Age. Saturn is the namesake for both the planet Saturn, and Saturday

  5. What is Saturn made of It is covered in an ocean of hydrogen. Could you live there? No you cant because there is no surface for you to stand on, so you would be swimming in hydrogen. Except the gravity is so strong that you would sink. Saturn is made up of hydrogen and helium.

  8. Saturn has 62 moons including unofficial moons • I did not want to have 62 slides on moons so here are 4 of the most known moons

  9. Pan is the innermost of Saturn's moons Pan creates stripes also called wakes Pan was discovered by, M.R Showalter in 1990 when taking pictures with the Voyager 2 spacecraft 9 years prior PAN

  10. People call this moon a mysterious UFO moon for its odd shape It was discovered by Richard Terrile taken by Voyager 1 in 1980 It was named after the atlas in greek mythology ATLAS

  11. Rhea • Rhea has many impact craters • This moon is named after the “mother of gods” • It is designated as Saturn V for being the fifth largest moon

  12. Titan It is Saturn’s largest moon. It is also the second largest moon in the solar system. In November 1980 Voyager 1 flew by and took pictures. It was discovered by Christian Huygens

  13. Saturn's size and density Saturn’s diameter is about 74,898 miles. That is nine times bigger than Earth’s Diameter. Also, immediately when you enter Saturn, you will gain 7 pounds. Saturn is the least dense planet in the solar system. Saturn's density varies from 0.7 g/cm3 and 0.75 g/cm3

  14. Distance away from the Sun and Earth Saturn’s distance from the sun is 1,429 million km. 1429 million km. 746 million miles The distance between Saturn and Earth is 746 million miles

  15. ORBIT It takes Saturn 29.7 years to complete a full rotation around the sun. Not the Gum!

  16. Rings The rings of Saturn are composed of mainly water ice and some dust particle along with other chemicals. Scientist suggest that the rings are remains of a giant moon that was stripped of it icy shell before it crashed into the planet.
