  2. Description • NHL 14 is an ice hockey video game developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports. It is the 23rd installment of the NHL series and was released on September 10, 2013 in North America, and was released three days later in Europe as well as Australia and New Zealand.

  4. Platforms • This game is available for box 360 and play station 3. The game is not available for play station 4 or Xbox one yet.

  5. Main characters • In NHL-14 there is not really a main character but there is a mode that is called live the life which you pick or create a character and play in the NHL for a season. Once you are done you will start over on the same character or create a new character.

  6. How are minorities portrayed? • In NHL-14 there are no good guy or bad guys there are rivals between team. One of the biggest rivals are between the Montreal Canadians and the Detroit Red Wings

  7. How are women portrayed? • Women are not portrayed as much as on other games such as COD or GTA V because there are women teams on NHL-14 when GTA there are no girls as main characters. In call of duty ghosts you can choose your gender so you can be a girls online but for the campaign the mains characters are boys

  8. How are men portrayed? • Men are portrayed bye always being the main characters in pretty much every game. When you are talking online with other people you mostly here guys not girls

  9. Level of violence • The level of violence in this game is 10+ because the worst violence in the game is possibly a hit from behind or a cut on his head from a fight.

  10. Positive messages/negative messages • Positive messages in the game are like when in live the life mode your coach can say to keep it up and stuff like that. • Negative messages are when the coach yells at you and tells you to go down to the minors

  11. Age to start playing • Are group started playing the nhl series from 4-6 years old I don’t think there is really a age limit of when you start playing.

  12. Hours spent playing • Since we have all been playing nhl games since we were 4 its around 1000 hours our whole lives.

  13. Favorite game • NHL games are my favorite games because. • I like sports. • They allow you to be in the NHL. • And there are lots of fun game modes. • And you can live the life of a hockey player

  14. Why we enjoy this game • We enjoy this game because we play hockey and enjoy watching our favorite teams and players and this game allows us to control them and even create our own.

  15. Addiction • Addiction is when you are obsessed with the game and you don’t want to stop playing. I don’t think I am addicted because I can stop when I want.
