  4. Nonrandomized designs Quasi-experimental studies frequently included (roughly 75% of reviews) Must be handled separately in review Driven by research question and nature of research on topic

  5. Unpublished Studies All SRs must search for gray literature Helps address publication bias and outcome reporting bias Publication bias must be assessed in all reviews

  6. Quality assurance Review groups develop a protocol for the SR Follows a standardized structure Peer-reviewed External substantive experts Methods group editor and review Coordinating group editor Final review Same as above

  7. Funding Review groups must secure their own funding Campbell Collaboration has some funding that it funnels to selected reviews to help move them along Not all reviews have funding Funding usually partial (5k to 50k)
