Course Objectives Student who successfully complete this course will be able to: • Design efficiently information systems. • Develop information systems for different applications. • Develop applications in the distributed computing environments.
Guidelines for the students • If you couldn’t do your homework or taking a quiz you will get a ZERO. • No make-up quizzes • Make-up exam will be extra materials, comprehensive and within one week you should bring the needed documentation. • Student have to pay attention to the lecture and Don’t Distract your classmates by: • Conversation. • Mobile phone(which should be silent or off) • Using your laptop or any other devices. • Attend late.
Homework and project • Copying from another student will result with zero for both. • No late submission.
Attendance • Students that come to class 10 minutes late are marked absent. • Students that are regularly absent are given DN warning (see DN warning flyer). • Students are advised to be regular in the classes. The missed lectures will not be repeated.
How you can succeed • Attend ALL classes • Check the course announcements and course schedule (once a week) • Read the textbook/slides and do the tutorials • Start your project early • If you don’t understand, get help right away!
