Effects of PGB and CGP on Ca2+ and K+ Currents in Neural Recovery Dynamics

This study investigates the comparative effects of PGB and CGP on calcium (Ca2+) and potassium (K+) currents in neural recovery phases. We present peak amplitude measurements at various mV levels, showing significant changes in Ca2+ currents and minimal effects on K+ currents under various conditions. Notably, the results indicate a substantial influence of PGB and CGP on calcium dynamics, with statistical significance noted at P<0.005 for Ca2+, while K+ currents demonstrated non-significant variations. Results support the role of these compounds in modifying neuronal recovery processes.
