E&I in Cross-Sectional Business Surveys: Recommended Practices from the EDIMBUS Project) The Manual of Recommended Practices (RPM) • Main characteristics • Focus: E&I at the post-data collection/data entry stage.How to plan and coordinate E&I activities performed at the various survey stages is a crucial but not explored issue • Oriented to survey managers and E&I experts: The RPM reader is assumed to have basic theoretical and practical knowledge on E&I • Not (only) a methodological tool: More space is given to issues relating to process design, control and management than that reserved to theoretical aspects, already available in specialized literature • Applicability: many of the elements of the RPM can be extended to other classes of surveys Istat, 28 Marzo 2008
