The AWWA Summer Workshop, held in July 2014, aimed to connect and align with the 2013 Strategic Plan focusing on organizational stewardship. Key objectives included enhancing the long-term financial viability of the Association, increasing member engagement, and facilitating knowledge creation. The initiative also prioritized strengthening partnerships and business relations, supporting recruitment and retention, and generating career development opportunities, particularly for students and young professionals. The Strategic Development Advisory Committee (SDAC) took the lead in finalizing a Philanthropic Business Plan to advance these initiatives.
