  1. Miloš StojkovićM.Sc. - Inženjer/Konsultant • Accredited Tier Designer – ATD by Uptime Institute • TIA-942 Design Consultant – CTDC by EPI • Member of Open Compute Project • Member of France Data Center • Member of Green Grid Edge Computing

  2. Enelps - specijalizovan za projektovanje i izgradnju Data Centara

  3. GlavniKlijenti

  4. Digital Transformation spending will reach $2T by 20221 and IOT Managed Service market will be $10B by 20222 1IDC, World Wide Spending on Digital Transformation, Nov, 2018 2IDC, Worldwide and U.S. Managed IT Services for IoT Forecast, 2018–2022: An Extraction View of Technology Outsourcing Services, Nov. 2018

  5. All digital transformation projects try to achieve at least one of three things Enhanced Customer Experience Operational Efficiency Improvements New Revenue Streams

  6. Yesterday: I need to make sure my network is robust enough to process my POS systems Today: I need to enhance the instore experience for customers to keep them coming in the door Decision Decision Integrated use case with converged technology and a service contracts IT equiptment or cloud services via an IT integrator CIO COO New paradigm Example: Retail

  7. IT department – internal problems Internally, business has little interest in IT operations – only interested in what it does and how much it costs. IT teams to focus on running applications on behalf of the business, not operating the data center

  8. IT department – external problems Rapid and monumental changes in multi-cloud delivery, edge computing, and AI are creating new challenges and opportunities for IT management AI will ingest data in the cloud, on-premise, and at the edge at volumes previously unseen Reliable infrestructure is imperative!

  9. Green Grid developed OSDA

  10. Edge Architecture

  11. Edge Computing is an ecosystem, not simply a small on-premise deployment Massive compute and storage located in remote areas CENTRALIZED CLOUD • Hyperscale TELCO & INDUSTRIAL EDGE Distributed Telecom MEC • Network function Virtualization • IOT 5G Reduce bandwidth needs LOCAL EDGE • Local Storage • Consolidate and prioritize data • Machine learning REGIONAL EDGE • Content Delivery IoT Large compute and storage located in urban areas Compute and storage where data is generated and consumed

  12. From the Customer Lenses Imperative to be managed Customer Quote Edge has become part of the business value requiring it to be available (like a datacenter) …”rapid growth makes standardization essential, otherwise costs will spiral (through inconsistent procurement, servicing and maintenance).” Unstaffed locations require low cost management and maintenance to enable deployments We need that the network is monitored, potential problems are identified before they result in downtime and things are troubleshot remotely as much as possible. With so many devices and location can not afford to manage exceptions in design We do proactive battery replacement based on age but the game-changer would be to prevent stuff before it happens. Regulations and reputations companies can not risk unauthorized access or loss / theft of data “We can’t afford problems with the UPS. It drives our whole store service - if it’s down, the whole store is down: workstations, cash registers. We’re unable to sell and to fulfill prescriptions. Customers expect vendors to provide solutions not pieces and parts They want the same brand and the types of service. They cant have multiple maintenance contracts, they need it to be standard across various countries. In a connected world that data needs to generate value in the management and maintenance of deployments Data integrity is key for us. Security of patient data and payment data make us want to keep everything inhouse as opposed to outsourcing it.

  13. Top Concerns for Edge Deployments * Prefab plays a role in reducing concerns around Edge Computing deployments Source: * IDC, Enterprise Edge Datacenter Survey; March 2018

  14. Micro and Prefab datacenters are the solution ….But every customers requirements are slightly different Prefab and Micro Datacenters

  15. The Complete Solution Integrated Physical IT Infrastructure (Micro DC, SMDC, etc) Fully Integrated HW: Rack Battery Back-Up Power Distribution Cooling Sensors enable: Micro DC Remote Site Management Lifecycle Services Physical Security

  16. Li-ion battery UPS – smart choice for Edge With a CAPEX investment that’s annually edging closer to VRLA, smaller footprint and longer lifecycle, Li-ion has become a popular choice for Edge

  17. Prepared rack - with power, distribution, monitoring, and security

  18. Smart Bunker 5 kW

  19. Smart Bunker 3 kW

  20. 14 KW Data-center (All in One) – 6.1m Customer Quote

  21. 14 KW / 50Hz All in One Datacenter Module – 6.1m Customer Quote
