  4. One Stop Shopping • SCC Admissions. • Financial Aid. • Scholarship Information. • Results.

  5. Administration • Computer lab accessibility. • Testing Date. • Permission Slips. • Sign Up Sheet. • Attendance. • Technology.

  6. SCC – Getting Started • Communicate with High Schools. • Set dates, times, what room? Results/Advising Room • Coordinate SCC Staff – Financial Aid Advisors and Admissions. • SCC Technology staff connect with High School technology staff.

  7. Leading Up to Testing Date • Communicate with high school about #s. • Any problems with set up. • Confirm Date and Times. • Results/Advising room reserved. • When can we get into testing room.

  8. Day of Testing Arrive Early – meet with counselor and technology staff. If everything set up correctly log into compass. Help when students arrive. Give Students instructions, process for the day. Monitor Students while testing.

  9. When Test is Complete • Collect Scratch Paper • Direct students to results/advising room. • Change resolution, text-format back to it’s original state.

  10. Results - Advising • Students meet with SCC Staff. • Explain Scores. • Answer Questions about financial aid and admissions. • SCC hand outs program information and other information related to SCC.

  11. Why? What are the Benefits? • Personal contact with students. • Help identify strengths and weaknesses. • College readiness. • Chance to work on needs while still in High School. • Gives students a self-awareness of what is needed.
