Yea, I Know, But…

The Church: A Place of Forgiveness God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - It is by Grace you have been saved Ephesians 2:4-5

God’s Chosen People? • Dead in your transgressions & sins • Following the ways of this world • Gratifying the cravings of sin • By nature, objects of wrath Ephesians 2:1-3

But God… • In His Great Love, • Being Rich in Mercy, • Made us Alive with Christ • Raised us Up with Christ • Seated us with Him Ephesians 2:4-6

What about Us? • Separate from Christ • Excluded from Citizenship • Foreigners to the Covenants • Without Hope • Without God Ephesians 2:11-12

But now in Christ • We have been brought near • He is our Peace • No Longer Foreigners & Aliens • Fellow Citizens with God’s People • Fellow Members of God’s Household • A Holy Temple & Dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit Ephesians 2:13-22

If This Is Not a Place… • Where Tears Are Understood.. • Where Do I Go To Cry? • Where My Spirit Can Take Wing… • Where Do I Go To Fly? • Where My Questions Can Be Asked… • Where Do I Go To Seek • Where My Feelings Can Be Heard… • Where Do I Go To Speak • Where You’ll Accept Me As I Am… • Where Do I Go To Be Me • Where I Can Try, Learn, and Grow… • Where Do I Go To Be Free

This is that Place! • Where God’s Grace in Christ Jesus is Extended to All For it is by Grace that you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
