Commercial vendors of Energy Related Products and Services Information for Eglin AFB Energy EXPO on October 13, 2011 Eglin AFB is inviting the participation of select vendors of Energy related products and services again this year for our Eglin AFB Energy Expo on October 13, 2011. It will run from 10:00 to 2:00. We will have 20 spaces, 10x10, available. These spaces are outside. Exhibitors will have to provide everything needed for their exhibit. Exhibitors can begin set-up at 8:00 a.m. on October 13, 2011 and event will be from 10:00 to 2:00. We are suggesting that exhibitors provide some type of “door prize” to increase visits to their booth. Each exhibitors will handle this drawing at his own booth. Every person working at an exhibitors booth must have a background check prior to the event to allow approval for passes to Eglin AFB. Eglin AFB will provide the affidavit for the background check which must be submitted at least 10 days prior to the event. There is no charge for the background check. We would prefer exhibits that are ENERGY related; i.e. energy improvements for the home, energy efficient builders, alternative energy contractors, or similar items. We cannot guarantee any attendance numbers but this is a major lunch location and it will be widely publicized throughout Eglin AFB. Last year we had approximately 300 attendees. Exhibitors can also patronize these fast food facilities for lunch if desired. Contact: • Jim Reese P.E.
