  4. Yearly Cluster Goal • By May 2015, all 7th and 8th grade students will demonstrate a year’s growth in ELA and Math as evidenced by a pre/post Galileo test resulting in a combined *AYP growth score from 55 to 60. • Skill focus ELA: • Skill focus in Math: *AYP=Average Yearly Progress

Cluster Cycle Goal 1 • By the end of the first cluster cycle, teachers will effectively analyze student work and monitor student achievement as evidenced by a 3.0 or higher average score of all teachers in each of the following three TAP rubric indicators: Standards and Objectives, Assessment, and Student Work.

  6. Evaluate New Learning • Looking at your reflection plan and pink follow up notes: please write a plus/delta for the plan and implementation of it. Next steps? • Continue as is • Revise • Try something new • Additional support-fill out pink follow up and place in tub

  7. Identify the Need • Teachers will gain an understanding of the MTSS 4 Cs by completing a jigsaw activity and crosswalk to the rubric and CCI. • CCI-Continuous Classroom Improvement

  8. Outcomes: • Gather baseline data – consenseogram • Understand our journey leading to MTSS – THE WHY? • District-wide vision of MTSS • Understand the 4 Cs of RTI– (in cluster)

The 4 Cs of RTI Jigsaw • Collective Responsibility (Why are we here?) pp.15-19 • Concentrated Instruction (Where do we need to go?) pp. 45-49 • Convergent Assessment (Where are we now?) pp.77-82 • Certain Access (How do we get every child there?) pp. 159-164 • Be sure to cite examples from the text in your share out!

Develop New Learning • Strategic Goal starts with standards and data By the end of the school year 2014-2015, all students will demonstrate grade level proficiency in ______________, as measured by Galileo, DV assessments, AIMS(8th Science only) agreed upon assessments(team created, textbook, etc). (See template in pkt)

Apply New Learning • Create and post in classroom as part of your Learning Environment: • Learning Requirements—Standards(student friendly) • Strategic Goal—End goal of your teaching • Mission Statement—why are we here? What do we have to do well together? How will we make that happen? (developed with your students)

  15. Bring Back • Evidence of the first 3 steps of CCI • Bring hard copy or picture of your board

  16. Follow up • Take pictures-print off and provide feedback • Hand back at cluster with feedback-during the Evaluate new learning
