  2. GIVE ME THE BIBLE Give me the Bible, star of gladness gleaming, To cheer the wand’rer lone and tempest tossed, No storm can hide that peaceful radiance beaming, Since Jesus came to seek and save the lost.

  3. CHORUS Give me the Bible, Holy Message shining, Thy light shall guide me in the narrow way, Precept and promise, law and love combining, Till night shall vanish in eternal day.

  4. Give me the Bible, lamp of life immortal, Hold up the splendor by the open grave, Show me the light from heaven’s shining portal, Show me the glory gliding Jordon’s wave.

  15. SANCTIFY THEM THROUGH THY TRUTH: THY WORD IS TRUTH (ST.JOHN 17:17)

  16. THE GRASS WITHERETH,THE FLOWER FADETH:BUT THE WORD OF OUR GOD STAND FOREVER.(ISA.40:8)

  17. THY WORD IS TRUE FROM THE BEGINNING: AND EVERY ONE OF THY RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENTS ENDURETH FOREVER. (PS. 119:160)

  18. SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES; FOR IN THEM YE THINK YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE:AND THEY ARE THEY WHICH TESTIFY OF ME.(ST.JOHN 5:39)

  19. THESE WERE MORE NOBLE THAN THOSE IN THESSALONICA,IN THAT THEY RECEIVED THE WORD WITH ALL READINESS OF MIND,AND SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES DAILY,WHETHER THOSE THINGS WERE SO.(ACTS 17:11)
