The Bank Insurance & Securities Association (BISA) is the leading financial services industry association dedicated to serving those responsible for the marketing, sales and distribution of securities, insurance, and other financial products and advisory services through the bank channel.  Member companies include depository institutions of all sizes, their broker/dealer and mutual fund subsidiaries, third-party marketing companies, product manufacturers and firms providing products, technology or services to support these enterprises. New strategic alliance to provide research and knowledge exchange for the bank brokerage industry On August 1, 2012 the Bank Insurance & Securities Association (BISA) and LIMRA jointly announced the formation of Bank Insurance and Securities Research Associates (BISRA), a strategic alliance between the two highly-regarded financial services industry organizations. BISRA's mission is to be the primary source of top-quality information and networking to those selling insurance and investment products through the bank/credit union channel. BISRA will serve as the research arm of BISA, and will offer groundbreaking research products and services, as well as jointly develop a variety of new products and services, including a transaction-level database that will provide banks and credit unions with unprecedented benchmarking capabilities related to their investment services offerings. Through the formation of BISRA we will be taking the executive roundtable platform program established by Kehrer- LIMRA to a new level of value for both invited attendees and sponsors.
