  1. Pasting content from Word into Tridion …without all that junk code!* *requires Dreamweaver

  2. Open the Word file and copy all of it

  3. Open Dreamweaver and create a new HTML page

  4. Paste the content from Word into the Design view for the page

  5. Next, select “Clean up Word HTML” from the Commands menu

  6. Doing this strips out all that “junk” code from Word. • This means your fonts will be the right size, color, style, etc. • Tables will also be intact and styled better.

  7. Then, go to the Code view. Select and copy ALL the code.

  8. Now, open the Component you wish to edit in Tridion. Open the Body field’s Source view, and paste your content there.

  9. Then click the Design tab (for the Body field) and make any final edits to the content.

  10. Finally, publish and preview your page!

  11. The page won’t be perfect – you may still have to do some adjustments to spacing, headlines, tables, etc. • But if you follow this method, you will have to do much less fiddling to get your page to look like it should!
